About Me

I was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia on the 20th of January 1942; so in 2016 I am 74 years ‘young’.

At Melbourne University, I completed an Electrical Engineering degree then at Sydney University I was awarded a Master of Engineering Science degree specializing in Computer Science.

As part of my research, I connected SILLIAC, a valve computer to KDF9 a transistor computer. The power of those machines was tiny compared to modern handheld devices but they had something special about them.

I had various managerial roles in the University Computing Centre and installed the first fibre optic cable network in an Australian educational institution.

For a complete change we bought a retail pet and aquarium shop and built that up over a few years.

For the past 20 years my interest in personal and spiritual growth has grown and I have been very fortunate to meet and learn from some wonderful teachers.

I now live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
